What is the main function of data converter IC
Data converter is a kind of integrated circuit IC products. It is a device for analog and digital signal processing. In terms of analog-to-digital interface technology, the progress of digital electronic technology has promoted the development of this technology at many levels and provided effective support; However, the teaching and self-study textbooks on these contents have been missing, including technical specifications, conversion methods and architecture, circuit design and testing, etc.
Integrated circuits can be divided into TV integrated circuits, audio integrated circuits, DVD player integrated circuits, video recorder integrated circuits, computer (microcomputer) integrated circuits, electronic organ integrated circuits, communication integrated circuits, camera integrated circuits, remote control integrated circuits, language integrated circuits, alarm integrated circuits and various special integrated circuits.
The data converter adopts tracking conversion technology and modular structure, which belongs to tracking analog-to-digital converter. Its output is a parallel natural binary code compatible with TTL level for analog-to-digital conversion of angle or displacement.
The digital converter is used to directly forward DVB-S satellite digital broadcasting programs or DVB CHFC network digital signals without decompressing, encoding and other reprocessing of the digital signals. For example, for MPEG-2 digital TV signals, TS streams can be directly output without compression coding. For DVB digital broadcasting, data streams can also be directly output.
The digital converter can be used for unencrypted digital signal, encrypted digital satellite TV signal, four channel unencrypted satellite signal TS output (no AV output), dvb-chfc network, microwave MMDS, 8GHz system, etc. when the digital signal needs regeneration, the digital TS stream is directly taken out from the channel signal for regeneration relay or signal multiplexing.
